Four steps, no mystery

We keep the process short and transparent. You will know what is happening, why, and what it costs at every stage.

1

Diagnostic call

A 60-minute video call where we map your revenue streams, cost structure and the specific friction you are feeling. No charge for this.

2

Data deep-dive

We request access to your financials, CRM and operations data. Over two weeks we build a picture of where money, time or customers are leaking.

3

Action plan delivery

Not a 90-page report. A prioritised list of changes with expected impact, owner, deadline and budget. We walk you through each item face to face.

4

Hands-on support

We stay for implementation. Weekly check-ins, supplier negotiations, team coaching, process redesign. We leave when the metrics prove the changes are holding.

Six areas where we make a difference

Growth strategy

We identify which products, markets or customer segments will drive your next phase of revenue. Then we build the roadmap to get there, including pricing, channel mix and hiring sequence.

Financial restructuring

Cash flow problems rarely fix themselves. We renegotiate payment terms, restructure debt, cut non-performing cost lines and set up rolling forecasts so surprises stop happening.

Operations improvement

We audit your supply chain, internal workflows and delivery timelines. Small changes to scheduling, inventory or vendor management often recover 10 to 20 percent of wasted cost.

Leadership coaching

Founders and MDs carry a lot alone. We offer structured one-to-one sessions focused on decision-making under pressure, delegation patterns and building a senior team you can trust.

Market entry planning

Thinking about a new geography or sector? We research the regulatory landscape, competitive set and distribution options before you commit capital. Typical research phase runs four to six weeks.

Digital transformation

We help you choose the right software, migrate data cleanly, and train your team without the six-month stall that plagues most IT projects. We are vendor-neutral and have no reseller agreements.

Purpose Driven Consulting team collaborating at a whiteboard

A small team with specific experience

We are five consultants. Between us we have run a manufacturing company, managed a private equity portfolio, led product at a SaaS firm, and spent a decade in management accounting. That mix means we understand your business from the inside, not from a textbook.

Our office is on Oxford Street in Dickiridge, but most of our work happens on your premises. We believe context matters: seeing the warehouse floor, sitting in on a sales call, reading the actual invoices.

We do not take on more than eight active clients at a time. That is a deliberate choice. It means every engagement gets senior attention, every week.

Things people ask before signing

How much does an engagement cost?

It depends on scope, but most projects fall between £4,000 and £18,000. We quote a fixed fee after the diagnostic call so there are no surprises. If the project grows in scope mid-way, we agree a revised fee before doing any extra work.

Do you work with startups or only established firms?

Both. About a third of our clients are pre-revenue or early-stage. The rest range from £1m to £40m in annual turnover. The diagnostic call helps us figure out whether we are the right fit regardless of stage.

How long does a typical project last?

The shortest engagement we have completed was three weeks: a pricing review for a food distributor. The longest was fourteen months of restructuring work for a group of care homes. Most fall in the two to four month range.

Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Yes, always. We sign your NDA or provide our standard mutual NDA before any data is shared. Confidentiality is non-negotiable for us.

Can you work remotely or do you need to be on site?

We prefer at least some on-site time because it helps us understand how your business really operates. That said, we have run fully remote engagements for clients in Scotland and the Midlands with good results. We use a mix of video calls, shared dashboards and weekly written updates.
